Sharri Tucker

As a self-taught artist, I have developed my creative voice through a lifelong love of art and a deep appreciation for the natural world. I specialize in impressionistic landscape paintings created with soft pastels, a medium that allows me to capture the richness of color, light, and atmosphere that inspire me most.

Much of my work is influenced by the breathtaking scenery of California's Central Coast and the Sierra Nevada foothills. From rolling golden hills and majestic oak trees to rugged coastlines, vibrant wildflowers, and ever-changing skies, these landscapes provide endless inspiration for my paintings. Rather than focusing on exact representation, I strive to convey the mood, movement, and emotional connection I feel when experiencing these remarkable places.

Through layers of expressive color and texture, I seek to create artwork that celebrates the beauty of nature and invites viewers to pause, reflect, and appreciate the landscapes that surround us.
