The beauty and serenity of nature instills a sense in us that all is right in the world…
When growing up, Los Angeles was a very different place, really quite beautiful, full of sunshine and color, year-round gardens, and the San Bernardino Mountains as a backdrop – a visual paradise by the ocean.
I have studied art at UCLA, The Laguna Beach School of Art, and various workshops
California has so many options, so skiing and later hiking, led me to spend some time living in the eastern Sierra mountains. My time spent there has influenced many of my paintings and, because of my love for the natural beauty outdoors, I am drawn to painting landscapes.
Currently I work in oil pastels, watercolor, and photography, and like to push the envelope a little with the possibilities of shapes and colors.
